Delete your Wafa account in the app
You can permanently delete your Wafa account and its data at any time, directly in the app:
- Open Wafa and go to Settings > Account Settings
- Tap Delete Account
- Type DELETE to confirm
Deletion is immediate and irreversible.
Can't access the app?
Email privacy@wafamuslim.com from the email address registered to your account with the subject "Delete my account". We will verify your identity and complete the deletion within 30 days (typically within 72 hours).
What gets deleted
- Your profile, photos, voice/video intros, and personal information — deleted within 30 days
- Your messages — deleted immediately
- Your matches, interests, and Wali group — deleted immediately
What may be retained: anonymised analytics (up to 2 years) and minimal records we are legally required to keep (e.g., transaction records). Active Google Play subscriptions must be cancelled separately in the Play Store — deleting your account does not cancel the Play subscription.
